Strangely as it may sound, I "see" your game in a "frozen" state where the character brings bits and pieces back to life. I'm really interested in the purpose of your character. Is there a story for us to unravel?

Yes, the severed head is animated, but it's actual parts don't move. I guess you could say it's animated through movement and interaction?
I noticed the 'unfreezing' thing too. My main goal right now is getting rid of that, and then I can focus on the opening cutscene, which tells the story of it all.
