So since some people have been asking for this stuff in the past and I have no problem with littering this stuff on the internets, here is a package that includes all my abandoned projects from around summer 2010 to this day (20.08.2011). I have no use for them, they are all yours.

I don't even know what all the stuff in here is, its just everything I've shoved into the "abandoned projects" folder. It does include a whole lot of sprites, tilesets and game editables, you'll need GM8 for most of them. There are no .exes because that would just bloat the package unnecessarily. Maybe all this will be helpful to you, maybe not.

That stuff is some serious coolbeans. But I kinda have to go along with your video's commentator, too. Why are you abandoning these? They appear pretty fleshed out and polished. All I suspect they'd be missing now is final levels and endings. Cool concepts and art direction, as well.

Also: while it's awesome, it will be difficult to reuse because the style is strong, if everybody uses it (as will be the case) we'll end up with a lot of similarly looking games

Could it be then, that there's a forgotten porn stash and a TXT file with all your master passwords hidden somewhere?  

The TXT file thing is a personal terror I have with anything I upload to the net.

No, I did a brief glance over this stuff and removed all my alien and plantlife porn and bank account info from there.

Well... take a month or two away from developing. Get some real world in you, maybe go and play some games instead of codebusting them. You'll get the urge back, it never goes away for too long. In the meantime, maybe a few of us here will play with these, and see what comes about of them.

Wow, I am horrible at doing anything art wise and what not... So this is greatly appreciated! Like so many other said it's a real shame some of these never were finished. After watching the video seems like they could have been pretty fun :-)
