which video card will be better for game like far cry 2, fallout3 & cryisi ?
i not just doing a serve i need to know coz i realy want to play this games they look great !

I thought you didn't care aout the graphic?

Anyway you'll need at least an 8-series card in NVidia terms (i don't know about ATi cards) to run these games. Would recommend a 9-series card tbh.

You should get a GeForce 8600GT or something better (8800GT, 9600GT, 9800HOLYSHIT etc.).

I remember when the ATi Radeon 9800 came out, and it was the fucking daddy. Kicked those pussy GeForces' asses.

Now it seems as if ATi don't even care aout the graphic themselves. They're just doing a serve.  WTF

the best cards on the market vs the cost atm are the 8800 GT and the 8800GTS, the newer ones based on the g92 chipset. the entire 9 series by nvidia is a sham. the 9600 is OK i suppose for low end inexpensive graphics. The 9800GTX costs $100 more than the 8800GTS, and it has a speed increase of around 3% overall. the 9800GX2 is *almost* as good as having two 8800 GT's in SLi, but it costs more... so go figure. the new 200 series however, are an entirely new chipset and blow all of the aforementioned cards out of the water... if you have the cash.

GeForce 8800GTX or better and if you choose the ATI way then 4850, don't worry you don't need a gaming rig with the newest stuff, the engine will be otpimized for Crysis Warhead so we can play it on a human PC, yes you heard right, Crysis Warhead will be actually a game and not a slideshow like Crysis and Far Cry 2 will be optimized too (at least I think so because it's the same engine) and later there will be maybe a patch for Crysis.
