...I seriously could not find anything enjoyable about the game from any perspective.
Diablo 3 in a nutshell.
everybody who says it is not a bad game, just a bad diablo game, is objectively wrong.
Agree.
Is it even possible to take damage in this game? Like, does the health bar serve any purpose? Why can I walk through a group of 20 enemies and not get hit a single time.
It's Blizzard's new feature where they try to save your outside life by making the game easier.
Need to walk that pesky dog? No problemo! Go ahead and do it- these monsters won't scratch your health!
Need to make a sandwich? Get to it, you won't needlessly die just because you suddenly left your machine in the middle of a game. Heaven forbid!
Do you suffer from narcolepsy? Thought were were going to die when you suddenly passed out for 3-4 hours? NOPE!
why can't I allocate attribute points?
Users complained in Diablo 2 that adding attributes themselves required too much effort and time. Users also often didn't know what any of the attributes did. This was a HUGE problem and we fixed it by letting the game do it for you. You no longer will have to worry about CONFUSING and TERRIFYING things like understanding numbers!
In diablo 2 I put all my attributes into vitality and maxed out werebear. I was the druid with the most life. I can't do that in diablo 3, all I can do is be the wizard who uses the knockback rune instead of the +20 damage rune or whatever.
A lot of players were very upset you had more life then them- we felt this was HARDLY fair- we fixed this like in the question above.
Are any of these things just issues with the beta?
No. Look forward to these problems in the real game, only $60 of your hard earned money or only $1035985 for the collectors edition!
Is the full game going to be better?
bad signs:
-
Their senior producer left in January.-They couldn't even get PVP in on time,
-They just realized town portals were a good idea.
-They just realized they made a bunch of other mistakes.
Am I gonna need to play through normal and nightmare to get to the fun/challenging difficulty?
Yup, look forward to taking zero damage from diablo himself while you make a sandwich or watch TV. Don't let things like dying in a videogame distract you from your "real" life!
Will they offer more customizability (seriously, at least let me change the face. I know you can do it, Blizzard. I know you can let me customize my face)
Face changing technology unveiled for Diablo 4 in 2020. Get ready to change your face and your game.
Oh, and let me play without an internet connection.
Never. NEVER. Always have it on we'll drop you like a rock. Did you drop a few packets? Aw too bad.
