I'm running D3 on the lowest graphics settings and it still feels like I'm running through a painting.
I will say however that their treatment of colour is like looking into the maw of a horse vomiting after eating nothing but rainbow crayola crayons for a month. Way too much saturation. It's like they don't understand the concept of brightness and contrast - "oh, but brightness and contrast doesn't exist! We can only communicate object-environment relationships by full-force fucking colour into your eyes."
...are you even playing the same game as everyone else I COMPLETED DIABLO 2 ABOUT 7 TIMES. ONCE ON HELL DIFFICULTY WHICH IS COMPLETELY EFFING BROKEN. THEN I WENT AND COMPLETED THE ORIGINAL DIABLO. I EARNED THE RIGHT TO BE PICKY! - Halfway through Act 2 at the moment. Despite nitpicks it's been lots of fun. Need to finish it before Sunday though when my flatmate gets back and hogs the internet.

I like how you can press keyboard buttons for skills, can you customize controls for the mouse skills to make them keyboarded? (so you don't have to write click all the time). I noticed you couldn't in the beta, but I wonder if they fixed that.

options > gameplay > elective mode
when you next set up a skill, notice that there's arrows to either side of the skills - click them

I think he means not having to use Rightclick at all, basically having all skills mapped to keyboard input

i like how all the lore/story shit is in audio format and can be listened to while playing. i never really got into the lore of the first 2 diablo gams because i played them in co-op 90% of the time.

I found it strage that elective mode and advanced tooltips are so hidden in options.

Yeah, took like 5 minutes to explain it to a wizard that kept getting killed (trying to get him to use frost nova to deal with big mobs).
Is it me or are wizards a bit shit? Sorcerers in D2 were generally the best because you had this big plate of skills to flip between. In this game you've got 6 skills, so all of those exotic options get in the way of dps. I've only teamed up with a wizard once in Act 1 and no one I know plays one.

Sorceress in Diablo 2 was the best because of Teleport and nothing else. It was such a broken skill that all the other classes purchased an item that gave it to them.
I'm guessing teleport still exists in D3 but it must have been nerfed really hard if it's balanced now.

I played a wizard to level 4 my first character and it was terrible I rerolled a barbarian and he's level 12 right now and sort of fun

I have level 21 barb and he is great, but there are moments were it's hard without non-fury ranged skill. Now I'm running a stun-lock build (Bash and Seismic Slam with stun runes), which just destroys everything 1 on 1. I hope higher difficulty bosses get some stun resistance because killing first boss of Act II was a breeze.
Also, is it just me, or Templar, with healings and aoe cc, seriously outclass every other follower?
Wizard (and Witch Doctor which I played to lvl 10) looks like late-bloomers, they start getting more useful when they get more spells. What is strange is that you can equip a powerful sword or axe and your spells will be stronger (cause it's all % of your dps), so that may be solution to early-levels shitness until you craft your first lvl 6 wand or find some better int gear.

Enemies will probably get 100% stun-immune later -- prepare to cry yourself to sleep.

Most of the bosses do not have stun resistance. However, I think stuns don't last as long on the higher end bosses.

This. Blizzard made sure everything in this game can be useful to an extent.

Just beat it on normal for the first time.
Fun!
Im playing an odd AoE CC Witch Doctor, walling stuff off with my Wall of Zombies and doing mad slow with my Grasping Hands thing. This gives ample time for my bro (Demon Hunter) to place really strong traps right under the enemies, blowing them up. Everything dies SO FAST

Not according to a friend who played sorceress. He sank all his points into fire-wall. That skill apparently raped everything. He only put points in other skills just to combat the fire immune monsters. The wizard has no such skill like firewall. All projectiles or exotics. No creating a nice long line of rape anymore.
