half the point of posting cute girls doing cute things is to elicit such violent reactions from manly 2hardcor4u seinen fans.

I've been watching Valkyrie Chronicles, which is pretty decent, but somehow it gets me thinking about Simoun again. I watched Simoun ages ago, but every so often something will make me go 'man, Simoun was really good' and often enough 'I wish this was as good as Simoun'. The comparison doesn't necessarily make sense, but anything with that sort of military setting seems to be susceptible.

I just finished kokoro connect and it's ... as mediocre as it was supposed to be from the start. I don't even know why I keep watching all this shit. It's more like an obsession than an actual hobby.

I liked the first four episodes - it looked like they were going to take a deep look into identity themes and such. But then the plot changed and they didn't, so another good idea wasted.

I recently watched through bakemonogatari, despite the fan service and slow plot progression it was a pretty addictive show.
The dialogue and animation were what sold it for me.
