Finally finished Lucky Star, it was quite fun and now I wish there was more of it. Also the OVA was way better than I thought it would be.

Now I'm going to continue Haibane Renmei.

Okay turns out it wasn't that the files were corrupted, I just haven't downloaded the OP and ED of the episodes.

2nd episode introduced the town and established the setting. I'm a bit more interested now because the setting seems really nice, it's a small town that looks like something from Europe and what little technology they have is outdated.

read 'All You Need Is Kill'

it's a pretty solid little novel. the writing is admittedly pretty spotty (eyerolling metaphors abound), but it has a lot of really interesting ideas and plot points.

Have you read the manga the art is done by Obata Takeshi (artist of Death Note).

All You Need is Kill is a great light novel.

Just finished the book yesterday. Going to the theater to watch the live-action Tom Cruise movie based off it later tonight!

Haibane Renmei is quite nice but I keep expecting the tone to change.
I know there's an event that happens soon because I accidentally spoiled myself but I'm not quite sure if any other major things are going to happen.

Watched Kaiba (Masaaki Yuasa) last week. It's just wrong to have such deep story with cute astro-boy-like art style.

I loved it.

Highly recommended.

The last two episodes of Brynhildr were truly terrible. Not that it was great before then, but it wasn't completely laughably stupid.

I am completely on par with you regarding that series :p
Sucks that No Game No Life and Nanana's Buried Treasure also ended now. I used to hate watching ongoing series, but it's like a little present you get to unwrap each week  Durr...?

It has pacing issues sure, but the central point of the movie was heart felt and hard hitting.

I like No Game No Life, but the amount of fan service gets really annoying sometimes.  Haven't seen Nanana's Buried Treasure, but it looks pretty good.
