Done with the manga. Was okay, though the translation could use some work (lots of typos). Interesting to see how his style developed. Ritsu looked unappealing in the first few chapters.
I still think I prefer the anime.
online manga sites often only upload the first version. houkago translations actually does an amazing job and are very devoted fans. it's likely you'll find fixed versions in their site.
the anime obviously has more content than the manga, because the manga is so short and not much can be shown in only 8 pages (why, kakifly, why?!) of content.
of course the musical part is basically absent from the manga, but even then, i'm not gonna lie: the last chapter before their graduation, when they play for azusa, totally made me cry. with that said, i think the manga still holds a lot of appeal. it's just a bit less enjoyable when compared to the anime version.
