I'm making a game where the player travels through a graveyard at one point. In order to add some flavor to the area, I decided to make it possible to read the inscriptions on the graves.

This was very amusing, until I realized I don't have enough epitaphs to fill the whole graveyard. I've mixed in a number of epitaphs from famous real people, and some from video games, but I still need more. Do you guys know any good epitaphs that are encountered in video games?

Here are a few I have so far:
"Here sleeps the noble Arthur, true hero to the Mimigas."
"Clive, forgive me for not dying at your hands."
"Great were his deeds, long was his reign, unthinkable was his death."
"A hero, forever loyal to the flames of war, rests in Outer Heaven."

Some of them don't really make sense in my game (like the one from Cave Story, since there are no Mimigas in the game's world), so I might even have to skip a few of these quotes, but we'll see.

"Here lies an atheist: all dressed up and no place to go." - Arcanum
"Chan - He slipped in the shower." - Shadow Warrior
"Blessed are the Peacemakers." - Red Dead Redemption

And some from Nethack, which are pretty much all references to other stuff

"You call that a punch? I'll show you a punch--"
"A man of few words to the very end, now a man of even fewer words."
"AFK"
"As you are now, I once was. As I am now, you shall be. Um, unless you're immortal."
"Nobody believed her when she said her feet were killing her"
"Paula Schultz"
"Something in my inventory could have saved me."
"Don't do whatever it was I did wrong."

Thanks guys! That Deus Ex line technically isn't an epitaph, but I think I'll include it anyway. Cheesy

Now that you've mentioned a roguelike, I also realized there are a few in ADOM that can be used:
"His steps were light, short his sight, great his pains, few his remains."
"He never was a valiant man, now he fits in a tiny can."
"Eternal pain be thine!"
"Great treasures are buried here."

"What a terrible night to have a curse."
"GAME OVER. Press "R" to retry."
"Where did you go?"
"I can see a scream in your pants. I can see the sorrow in your pants. We can call it, Bob Hope."
"C.A. Sinclair passed away at the depth of 205 feet, having touched that which should not be touched."
"Thank you Xario, but our princess is in another castle!"
"GRUMBLE GRUMBLE GRUMBLE"
"Blue Valkyrie. Needs food badly. Green Elf. Shot the food!"
