I was thinking after lunch, while coming to work of making a platformer with short, simple levels where you had to reach a spot before the timer runs out. There's a game I like that for 3DS.
I think I'll do it.

I've been wanting to work on a really realistic RTS for a while. I'm not talking something like Starcraft... I mean an RTS with an actual chain of command where you're commanding at most 4 or 5 people and dealing with logistics and strategy on a much higher level. Like what Generals actually do all day.

Thread A'Dare: The amazing spider, man!
platformer or puzzler...if platformer: you control a spider, leaping and swinging on his thread from point to point, but quite 'physics heavy' in terms of having judge distances, swing of thread etc. limit to how much thread spider has if puzzler: similar, but kind of crossed with the old 'bridge simulator' game...have to negotiate the screen and build a web with the limited thread and 'anchor points'...then along comes a big fly or summat and you see if your web is strong enough!

When I was much younger I had this fantasy of an rpg with beat-em-up segments or something akin to Street Fighter in place of traditional turn-based battles. Then I found out it's been done.
I like the idea of a top-view(or 2.5D) adventure game with strong action elements. I find that side-scrollers feel very smooth and pleasant to handle, while most top-view games tend to be rigid, and don't allow for fast movement, either. I had this vision of a flashy Contra/Metroid type hybrid that operated in those dimensions; some strong action segments, and puzzle/exploration to boot. This has been attempted to some small extent, e.g. Scurge:Hive for gba, but I think the implementation can be a lot better. I think people have the impression that speed and flow are limited because of the visual angle but the scope of what can be seen at a distance is really no more limited than in side-scrollers. Mario 3DS takes a step in this direction as well.

You know, that is kind of geeky fanboyish, but one day I'd really like to do a sequel for Interstate 76 (no Interstate 82 doesn't count)
I just loved that game, especially because it was so hideous in that Mechwarrior 2 engine. The whole fictitious 70ies Nevada desert setting and cars with guns just appealed to me. So even if no-one cares about it, I'd just like to try to make it just for me to play.
"Swinger this is Stampede, do you copy?" "Never get out of the car!"

I could care this. I believe there was a group somewhere that were making a remake of the '76, it actually looked really nice. But, I've lost it. And because it doesn't use the name "Interstate 76" for copyright reasons, I cant even find it anymore.

I fucking love Summon Night. One day I'd like to take a swing at an Action-RPG in that style.

I want to make a game where wizards create spells and battle each other in an arena, does it matter if it's been done before?

DO THIS NOW! I loved that game. Nothing like loading up the semi truck and raming other cars at fullspeed.

I want to make a game that make me proud of myself. I don't care what kind of game will be...whatever came to my mind and make it true and well made, i will be happy. And if it sells well, much better
