It's been about six months since I posted a really badly made video of my game Gunpoint here, and I'm finally ready to show shots of what the final thing will look like. It's a stealth puzzle game that lets you rewire the levels to trick guards and break into high-security buildings. Here are the shots: http://www.gunpointgame.com/The new art style is courtesy of John Roberts, who worked on Half-Life 2 mod The Hidden, and currently works for David Braben at Frontier Developments. The backdrop is by another artist, Fabian van Dommelen. Both offered their services in response to that previous video. Love to know what you guys think of the look, and the concept if you didn't see it before. That video is still online, and it'll explain how the game works and also show how far it's come visually - it was made with my crappy placeholder art. Cheers!

this game is sweet! even the previous version is great(Hunter leap at the guard and slap him is fun enough). as RichMakeGame! said, it's kinda crazy to leave it as a freeware(i won't mind though. free game!)

Thanks everyone! If people like it once it's out, I might make new chapters and sell those. Maybe some kind of special edition could work, too.

My initial thought was that it looked a lot like The Art of Theft, in a good way that is . I love the clean aesthetic you've gone for, it's simple yet effective. Great work!

Bah, get it on Steam. $2.50-$5.00. I want to support work like this with $ and I don't think I'm alone.

I love it! And the video was a fun time. Gunna second Nebjezus' compliments on the clean, simple art. Delicious. ...Still looking for testers?
