@Dragonmaw, in your post with your reading of the board members, above, I think I see why you're the main mod here. The language was blunt but there was consideration for the person you addressed under the forthrightness. I respect that, just as I think you fundamentally respect other people. [I am characterised by] radical honesty [and] low emotional intelligence This is a problematic combination especially for written conversations. Might I suggest you tempering your radical honesty with your self-awareness of your low emotional intelligence to limit said radical honesty to opinions of concepts rather than of or about people here? it is true that i tend to use language extremely precisely: i seldom carelessly use a word Well, how about "I"?

i don't recall ever giving people my opinions about them on this forum actually. i'm sure it's happened once or twice but offhand i can't think of any instances of this, except "joke instances" like my analysis of dragonmaw that isn't how radical honesty works in any case, when you want to say something about someone you say it to them, not on a public forum. so what you describe is not "limiting" radical honesty, but the proper application of it

Was Skype (as a joke), not Twitter. Unless you count all that furry porn on tumblr... Matt is probably just confused.
Also I tried metal combat way back in 2007. It wasn't fun, barely ran, and was ugly as sin. I had it installed for 5 minutes before I deleted it.
Will analyze more when not on my phone.

The intro is longer than five minutes, it must have been your girlfriends reflection in the monitor during the fade in!

hahahah -- see that is why i like mattg, nobody else makes jokes like that
anyway i agree that 5 minutes is not long enough to judge a game by, but in fact i think i recall having a discussion with dragonmaw in irc where he disagreed with that; i think judging a game based on such a short time period is way too difficult to do accurately, but he's a professional (game journalist) so perhaps he's developed that skill further than i've been able to
