I would be interested to see what the game is about and how it looks. I don't think many people would be willing to test without some initial information and screenshots of the game. A site link would do wonders.

Developing an awesome MMORTS. Think eRepublik meets Evony!

Anybody making an MMORTS that is a cross between eRepublik and Evony does not deserve any help. In fact I would recommend that they should be hindered at every opportunity. The last thing the world needs is a MMORTS/eRepublik/Evony mashup.

So what you're saying is this: I can't be rude, because you (Paul Eres) don't know me. When did this become about you? Who cares if you are forgiving? I'm pretty sure worldalpha has no idea who allen is either. So try show a little respect to people. Just try. It won't hurt.

Wow, this thread has taken a turn for the worse.  When I posted it, I was just starting to get into the community.  I didn't even have a website (I just updated to the link today).  So, I wasn't spamming as I had no site to SPAM.  Since then I have started a DevBlog, posted it here, and have done some more participation.  Anyways, back to your bickering...

I truly believe that a MMORTS/eRepublik/Evony mashup would be a truly horrendous game, but I wish you luck all the same.

I'm trying to take you seriously as an expert, but when your game has a No Rank in Alexa, it is really hard to believe it.  Maybe wait til my game is out, and play it, before calling anything horrendous.  I'm tempted to comment more on your "games" but I'll refrain for now.  

Seriously, I don't get it.  I have similar posts at other sites, and gotten honest and constructive feedback.  This site is for indie developers and as one just trying to get some feedback, all I get is grief. I would understand if it was a site full of AAA games, and the general public (not indie developers & gamers) was commenting.  I've gotten way better feedback from reddit and onrpg than here. Anyways, this type of stuff motivates me.  My site is going to be far from horrendous.  It may not be your cup of tea, but lots of people will enjoy it.

Oh I thought you knew that TIGF is full of old cranky gentlemen who won't touch anything that looks like some other game. Unless we are talking about Cave Story clones. Everyone loves CS. True story. Period. Sheesh.
