Actually I specified that I first give my stuff to Manuel and when that's done, do suicide, not the other way around.
Mumblemumble...
You desperately tried to find Manuel but your suicidal tendancies were too much to overcome. The Save a Dolphin foundation sends your family a thank you card. Only a southern cross magic could bring you back to life

Fuck the shit dis is a scam. I've got some friends in hell, so coming back to revenge won't be a big deal. Only that all hell gates are closed on the surface side. Who will find one and open one for me?
Oh, southern cross what?

Aww, I wanted to party with rap stars.
Now that I have wheels... I need but one more thing. I head to a pawnshop, where I might exchange this chain for money to buy a gun with,
You quickly arrive Tropic Pawn and Gun. They have a nice neon gun sign calling to you from the street.
The guys says 3,000 for the chain. thats enough for any rifle or pistol in the place

Now I feel like going for a drink, is there any five-star pub in the city? I need to celebrate the bank assault.

single malt whiskey from 1926 that is sold out in all retail establishments. This liquor was bottled in 1986 and rebottled again in 2002. It sold at auction by Christie’s in New York recently and brought in $54,000.
Macallan 60-year-old Single Malt Whiskey
$50,000 if you take a girl into the champagne room

I pick up a .577 Tyrannosaur rifle and several pieces of ammo. That's enough to take out anydamnthing.
I got wheels, I got a ride... Now I need better magic. I need to look for somebody to learn better magics from. What's the word in the street about mystics?

Thanks to everyone who played constrictor so far. Manuel clearly dominated and ended up in the club with the drink and the girl and $48,000,000 to go with his magic.
My observations so far are thus
1. Players want rewards, if they participate in a meaningful way give them rewards and they keep playing. make them do too much, and they stop playing or lose track
2. Players like hot chicks
3. Players do not like long response wait times. The longer it took for me to continue the game, the less players were engaged. NOt sure how to automate this but there is alot of potential
4. Forum RPGs are tough to write so as to keep the game on track and account for random player wishes and story branches.
5. LIVE games where the story is written by the players and the game designer is a hugely interesting concept to me and has shown alot of potential. I can see a huge game across social networks that is live with tons of players would be awesome but hard to develop.
6, THanks for playing I hope to do more of this in the future when I get some of the mechanics worked out.

Bonus tips I've found for running online RPGs since I do that a lot:
7. Players are MUCH more likely to participate in a game where there is no entry fee. Games that require you to apply or submit a character scare folks off because they have to work before they get a reward. Sometimes a little effort is better than none, though.
8. Low commitment attracts players. Nobody was obligated to post to keep the game going. The game moved on without players giving input. Players feel comfortable joining in knowing they will not be punished if they quit suddenly. They may also have little commitment to keep the game going, though.
9. To keep the game flowing, use rules that allow players to easily resolve actions between them. If both players have a way to engage and resolve conflict without the game master intervening, the game can keep momentum even when you're logged out. The trick is to make the rules totally unambiguous so that only the most extreme cases will require you to make a ruling. This might not be at all applicable for your game, though, since it is almost entirely based on the whims of the game master.
