Sorry I didn't have the time to write down my perceptions =/

I liked the tutorial and the voice over helping with that (since the screen already had lots of things going on).

I also liked that now I was able to die and it happened a couple of times, but the colony was rarely scratched.

I'd suggest that the blue orbs didn't spawn near the colony, since it's almost as if you didn't have anything to do. And it would also be nice if they really had something to do with the enemies, like if you had to penetrate the enemy forces to grab them or if they were after the blue orbs too.

The most interesting levels was the ones with the big ships (that takes some hits to kill) and that had enemies firing back. I also enjoyed times when I had to grab blue orbs near the enemy spawners.

It was only until level 8 that I found the linear gun to be more effective than the homing missiles (and I supposed the linear gun should be better than the homing, since it would be acquired later [and I'm assuming you still had the collectible artifacts out of the beta and that's why I would have it right at start]). The linear gun is harder to aim and somewhat slower and before that it also seemed weaker, so it wasn't really useful until it seemed to be powerful enough to wipe out the enemies.
And I say I've just found it on level 8 because I had so many homing missiles that the game was lagging, and then I decided to change to the linear gun and found it to be better.

I played it on a Dell XPS Laptop, i5-2410 2.3GHz, 6GB ram, Nvidia GeForce GT 525M with 1GB dedicated and 2GB shared ram.

After some time playing on the red planet the game froze all of a sudden and I had to restart the computer.

those are really good comments,
yes, is more fun to pick orbs when you have to fight for them, maybe I can do some enemies gather around the orbs... I'll do some tests.

Linear gun needs some improving, it was in early stages and I kept working on other things, but I have to retake it and improve it soon.

For the missiles, I think I added too much and is a way to powerful weapon (which also cause some lagging), so I think I should reduce the number of missiles, and probably add some settings in the options to reduce the number of particles (you computer should be fine to play it, but there are maybe some other people out there with slower computers and it would be nice to control the performance that way).

In next beta I expect to have the challenge and coop modes available.
