Is anyone else watching it? I love it! There's a whole bunch of fansubbed episodes. Yeah, there's the Kotaku translated episodes too, but those are USA-only and I heard they really butchered those episodes too Hand Thumbs Down Right

The latest subbed episode is about Arino going to the USA. Pretty awesome :D

I find it curiously entertaining, like a hapless, meandering Let's Play.

Much less entertaining when I don't know the game, though. Clock Tower and Ninja Gaiden were awesome.
The Kotaku ones really aren't that bad in terms of subtitles, it's just the kind of pointless english narrator

Fantastic show, I love it.  Arino's dogged determination is an inspiration to us all.

Love this show.

Arino also has a set of DVD's where each DVD is a biography of a retro game company I just watched the Irem one and am working through all of them. They are 100Y a week to rent here so I'm good Smiley

Here's a link to the Irem one

Those stills are sometimes funnier than the actual thing.

I've watched an episode a while ago, but found it less rewarding than actually spending my time playing the game, although yeah it was funny, but I couldn't be arsed to watch the whole episode (I have a life)

i just watch it while eating; watching the kacho suffer and triumph is good for the digestion

sorry I have already a backlog of things to watch while eating, there are too many videogames and TV programs nowadays, I'm thinking about cutting all that shit off for a while

imagine you're 9 again, sitting with your dumbass snotty neighbour who smells weird and lets you watch but not play his games. except you're not 9, you're paul eres. you have an intractible cold due to the damp in your condemned new jersey frankenstein lab and your neighbour is a middle aged salaryman on youtube but now he's really bad at the games. this is what passes for entertainment for some reason.

Arino is part of a really popular comedy team in japan (Yoiko) so that probably helped.
