Oh that was a good decision then.  Happy days indeed.  Except for the vampires/thieves/tentacled demons, then.  I can rest relatively soundly tonight anyway.

It is slightly amusing, I think, to note that we all defer to the spirit of a dead werewolf.

I find it worrying that our judge cannot perform basic math. Garthy was attacked by three wolves, and it was even after battlerager's demise.

What? I sense a contradiction, besides my own statement, at least. But no-

In the wee hours of the morning, another explosion is heard.
Oh, not again. Roll Eyes
The townsfolk go out to investigate and find Annabelle Kennedy's house in ruins, a hole blown through the front of it, and most of its roof completely missing. In the ruins they find a tome with all sorts of strange symbols on it - written seemingly in an otherwordly, demonic tongue. The book's mere presence gives everyone chills - and for good reason: turns out it's straight from hell!

Annabelle Kennedy was the DEMON!

Well, since everyone's awake now, might as well start the day. The turrets don't seem to have been triggered during the night, but something has been found - a GeneralValter, sitting in the middle of the street, with a tired look on his face.

Turrets!! Fuck Yeah!! No one died!!  Only two werewolves and an indeterminable number of vampires left!!  You guys can thank me and hroon and Garthy for the set up that convinced no one to go out and kill us in our sleep.

Yes, yes! We can still take this back!

jstckr, the werewolf, has been taken down. It is a shame that our virtuous priest had been taken from us by the forces of darkness, but thanks to a well aimed blast, his soul can now rest in peace, free of the foul werewolf. I'm glad my suspicions toward him were correct. I have to admit I thought he'd be a vampire, though, not a wolf.

Annabelle, a demon. Okay, that's a twist I hadn't seen. Had the demon wished she could have just walked next door safely to my new house and then there would have been a fight. I'm not sure I could have prevailed against such a powerful foe, but I now have a better idea as to what may be out there. I will be better prepared this night.

I should point out that I had no night visitors. On the bright side, I had a fine breakfast with the leftovers from the meal I had prepared last night. Scrumptious. Smiley

Regarding turret configuration, I would like to say two things. I would like to nominate the exact same design again, including a fully-random spin of the dial on each this evening. I hereby vote for this design. Before we do this though, I would like to inspect the current dial settings on the turrets, with everyone present, so we can see what they were set to. As the turrets didn't go off this may not be of help, but I would like us all to know this information in case it is of use later.

My first thought with the events of this evening is to ask GeneralValter what happened to him. And then I realised I'm not going to believe a word of it. increpare vanishes for a day, then returns. GeneralValter vanishes for a day, and then returns. increpare asked us to lower our defenses against humans at night. This isn't a hard decision to make. I believe that both increpare and GeneralValter have been compromised in some way, possibly by the demon. I vote that we lynch increpare. If GeneralValter survives the night, he should go next.

I am guessing the Seer is out there, and I think I know what you are doing. I have to say that if I am correct, I admire your excellent work. Please keep acting as wisely as you have been. I have no recommendations, just keep alive!

EDIT: Retracted vote for increpare.

Hm, I don't know if I want to vote again so quickly.  I want to see how the next day plays out.  But I agree about setting the turrets up the same way.

Garthy, My suspicion rests solely on you. I have the read the town records, and seen what you suggested. Why would you suggest that we set the turrets to attack all people? Our enemies are the werewolves and vampires (and demons...), not the humans! Why would you allow the turrets to shoot those who would be out at night for lawful intentions?

And for your information, I was kidnapped. you have seen plagues, demons, vampires, and werewolves, and yet you refuse to believe that there may be a kidnapper loose, stealing people away in the night? Your ignorance betrays you, Garthy.

My dear GeneralValter, I am glad you are back with us, but as I have said, I believe that you and increpare have been compromised.

I think my actions speak very well of me thus far, yet when I make an accusation against increpare, rather than attempting to reason with me, you immediately suggest I should be lynched instead. This does not speak well of your current character, nor of increpares. Very well, I was aware of that risk. I expect increpare to vote for me for similar reasons. I would strongly encourage everyone to have their say, and make sure that the right person is lynched at the end of this day.

I think Garthy's record is pretty good.  He suggested we kill jstckr, and he was a werewolf.  He came up with the turret design which improved on hroon's separating technique, and it worked.  And why were you kidnapped, as you say? Was it like increpare's kidnapping by the demon?  And you can't forget there was a murder at the start of the game.  Of course unless you want us to forget their was a murder at the start of the game.  Right now I have no trust in you or increpare.  There's still a vampire out there and it may be turning people.  So there could be a total of three vampires, and two werewolves.  I'm going to be very afraid this next night.

Garthy, I fell to the same fate as Increpare, stolen away in the night by masked horrors. For you to speak against him is to speak against me, and it is to speak against a human. You are clearly the one who has been compromised, considering your current hatred of humans. Honestly, targeting kidnapping victims, setting the turrets to maul humans? Will you be punching babies next, or blowing up hospitals?

Also, McAndrews. You forget that Increpare also voted to have jstckr killed. And he was right, jstckr was a werewolf. In fact, even I voted for jstckr on the second day, and it seems that I was right too! Blame has been thrown in jstckr's face by all of us, and we all just so happened to be right.

On that note, good night. I will see you again in 8 hours, when I have properly rested. I spent the last 12 hours tied to a chair in a very dark room, don't cha know?

Why would you allow the turrets to shoot those who would be out at night for lawful intentions?

Oh. Do you mean the thieves, the demons, the diseased and the kidnappers? Why yes, poor fellows having to cover from the turrets. There are more things trying to harm us that werewolves and humans, GeneralValter, as it has been pointed out before.

Garthy, I fell to the same fate as Increpare, stolen away in the night by masked horrors.

And that why we now fear of what those horrors may have changed from within you, GeneralValter: Has it turned you into vampires, or host of latent vampirism? Werewolves? Diseased? That's why I will vote for increpare, and hope that I'm not mistaken.

I also think we should use Garthy's turret plan again.

Setting the turret to "maul" humans is the only way we can have an effective defense.  So if there is a kidnapper, presumable human, who can take people in the night, why have they waited three nights to do it?  Is there someone in the town with the ability to kidnap people and just let them go at after twelve hours?  Why would they do that?  Just to sleep deprive you?
And on that note, why are you so tired all of a sudden Xotes?

You seem awfully defensive over my vote for increpare. Do you forget that if I am wrong, your innocence would be apparent after increpare passes away and my theory is disproven?

Though no doubt you have been stressed. Taken away by kidnappers and the black beast that increpare claims attacked him too? You have no doubt had a busy day. How do you claim to have escaped?

I do not feel my theory is wrong. I find it much more likely that you lie to us. Fear not GeneralValter, for you will soon be free of your dark tormentor. My vote remains with increpare, and will be with you the next day.

Now that I think of it, do we really want to kill the remaining vampire and werewolves? They have to hunt in groups, so if we kill the only one that remains separated from the rest due to the turrets, they will be able to kill again.

But, on the other hand, waiting for the seer to reveal himself could take quite a while.

If we get down to the last ones and they kill the people next to them, we have a small list of suspects.  The random settings on the guns help with this, remember?  The beasts have to take the risk to cross the street to hunt, and they won't do that if they are the last ones.  We covered this fear before in the discussion about the turrets.
