No shit, but in this case it does. I mean, there were some wonderful people at TIGJam; they are all brilliant spirits as far as I'm concerned. Talented, creative, fun, etc. And who is this guy criticizing them without even knowing these people? Judging them solely based on their pictures? Who is this guy? He has no portfolio to speak of, no talent, intelligence, or worth to show for himself. He's just another unoriginal hater taking shots from the sideline because he's not part of something awesome.
The quote was totally appropriate in this case.
