Maybe they're more reasonable!
I've tried the free versions of the first 6 of them (the last four had humongous watermarks). The framerate was crappy, and some missed a few frames, kinda crappy. =/

So to anyone who has tried the game, and has a means of recording it, I would love you to the end of time. :D

Day 9; 10.31.11

Happy Halloween all! Today, I made the day/night cycle longer, with a longer night than day. I also added a day counter to add the whole "certain mobs spawn on certain days" idea. I also went out on a limb and started to try and add saving/loading of files (well, file for now). Saving to the file works great, but reading from it caused me some slight problems. Then trick or treating came, and all progress came to a stand-still, and that's where it lays. So no new build, as nothing really changed (or was finished). Oh, and I also scrapped mouse controls for N and M for torch placement/removal, and 2-9 for item selection.

Day 10; 11.1.11

Early log entry today because I have a couple of tests to study for. High school is so much fun, isn't/(wasn't) it? Anyway, was able to finish saving and loading. So ya, I accidentally forgot to update the ReadMe, so here's the new controls:

(if it's not listed, it didn't change)

N/M: place/remove torches
Z/X: save/load file

So now you can reach day 100 without needing to play straight. Jk of course.  Big Laff



Oh, and officially moving this to 20%.

Day 11/12; 11.2/3.11

Hey all, sorry about yesterday. Was tired and ended up taking a four hour nap after school. I then had to cram some homework. No No NO So no progress was made yesterday. Anyway today I spent my time fixing all the bugs I got from feedback with saving/loading as well as finishing the day/night mob spawn idea.

I also tweaked with the mob spawn rate, so I'd like feedback on that; too many or too little or just right?

No new screenies as nothing really changed graphically.

Looking cool, I too like the minimalistic look. I would prefer for the knight to move also when holding the directional keys, don't like tapping the keys so much Smiley Let's see some update, I'm sure you have something new to show Wink
