Devlog Entry 35 Revision: 30
Super busy day, only wrote code for a bit. Mostly did design work and level design. I'm thinking about the voxel terrain and if that's really going to add to the game or not. I think I'm going to have to try it out and see how it plays in the new year, but I'm still not sure what's best. I think it will be faster to create the environment then to build it, but I'm still a ways out from even trying it. Oh well.

I also rendered some beards at different depths and it's working as expected.
This is much better when taken completely out of context.

Devlog Entry 36 Revision: 31
Another slow day. Wrote some code for a little demo game I'm doing with some friends in college. They're writing a robot fighting arena in C# and getting a bunch of people to write AI for the arena, and having each others robots fight it out. I also pulled some assets into the un announced project directory. They're just concepts done up by the guy I'm working with, but they're looking nice. Still a long way to go, but having concepts should help motivate me to make it into something cool. =]

Started ripping the test code out of the engine and separating it into projects for terra carve, sumo, and my other project. I'm also packing up my apartment getting ready to move. So things may come a bit slow until that's done.

Devlog Entry 38 Revision: 40
Doing a massive move around of directories and assets. I should have organized my repository weeks ago but I didn't. I've got it set up so there are now projects with demo scenes for every project. I'm really frustrated with the linker right now, even thought it's my own damn fault. I set things up really dumb to experiment with efficient linking and it just blew up in my face. I've got things working again, but what should have been a 2 hour process turned into my entire night. I'm super close to getting something done for my other project, so hopefully tomorrow will be a good post. @eigenbomThanks pal!

I decided not to give up on linking this in an optimal way. It's not working yet again for the applications using the library, but the xoorfram application (library as an exe) is working fine. gsrtgjk. Yup. Hopefully I'll get to real work tomorrow.

VICTORY. Thanks to noct! Turns out my common.h in the engine and in the game had the same include guards. Yeah. That was dumb... I have a hot key to generate my include guards for me, so maybe I'll try to find a way to create it with a project name prefix or something to keep it from happening again. My dev log is going to be quiet for a few days because I'm moving on Sunday. So I'll be back with progress on Monday. I probably wont have much done because of packing, but it should make for a juicy commit on Monday. Cools. That's it for now. Hopefully I'll have some more pretty pictures soon.

I'm well now, and I've been developing a bunch. I wont do a post until some time next week though. There are some pretty cool things going on I can't talk about, and I want to focus my time on that.
I'll be sure to make my next update good. Maybe even a video.
Edit: Things are going just swell. An update will be coming soon. I promise. :D

Sorry to disapoint friends;
I'm going to lock this thread until I have the first of my 3 games done. I'm getting so much done every day I don't dev log that I can't really justify keeping up a daily log. I've been up to some exciting things I wont talk about online, but I might be able to in the new year.
I plan on having a playable game by the third Wednesday in January and I'm making good headway to ensure that happens. If it does, I'll be showing it off publicly and should have a video for it.
