What did you love most about the jam? For me it was the epic 0space tournament, seeing all the cool things people are working on at demo night, and getting a signed Super Meat Boy soundtrack from Danny B.

I liked seeing new games! I didn't spent a lot of time playing though!

I liked getting a crazy amount of stuff going:

Longcat Game (unfinished, maybe I'll be inspired to try again)
A template project for jam games - maybe it will be a "framework" someday
Love Thy Neighbor (silly 1-hour game done in ACK - not sure how to distribute the result)
World's Best Selling Game
SiONTracker

I liked playing MADHOUSE again

I liked meeting people!

Bay Area peeps: Make the pledge for more + bigger local jams soon!

1. The fact that people couldn't stop making sound effects with their voices during people's game demos. After Shoot Bastard! it was unavoidable.

2. Getting my project to work well enough for a tech demo. This weekend was heavy on progress.

3. The Madhouse tournament.

The imitated sound effect thing during the demos was definitely on my list.

I enjoyed meeting other indies, even though most of them had no idea who I am. But I enjoyed playing and seeing so many peoples' games, and having interesting discussions with people while I was there. I apparently need to post more here!

I felt reasonably productive after day 2, and made my game engine Plum compile and work again. I also revived my once backburnered project, Molasess Meow. A few ideas have popped into my head, and it feels good.

Also I like the shirt and Spelunky figurine. I got the shopkeeper! :D

I hope that I get to attend more jams in the future!

The tournaments: Red Ice, 0Space, and Madhouse.

Talking to everyone and seeing the cool things people were doing.

Drinking 15 year scotch in an alley behind the Indian restaurant.

Finally learning how to use cross-products for detecting line intersections.

I liked James getting the 6 people he needed to test his Pac-Man game together and then the subsequent testing.

Also Madhouse Tournament woop woop.

Seeing what everyone else was making was super inspiring, and getting lots of feedback on my own thing made me feel all nice on the inside.

In no particular order:

1. Playing 6-player Red Ice and watching Stevie score crazy goals
2. The commentary for the Madhouse tournament
3. Getting the cops called on us because people thought our plastic swords and axes were actually real
4. Tapped out! (Andy busting through the plant, Paul's grillz, George trying to flip the desk, Derek's double sword dance, etc.)
5. Just hanging out with people, and being inspired by all the creativity

1) Derek saying that he would unban me if I could roll a 20 on a 20-sided-die*, else he would ban my newbans account. Rolled a 20 on the first shot Wink

*Also if I promised to behave.

2) Being in Supershigi's MTG rap video... lol.

3) Randomly drawing the very Spelunky figure that I wanted.

4) Eating at that Garden Fresh Chinese Vegan restaurant 3 days in a row.

5) Being drunk though 75% of the jam.

6) Shooting toothpick blowdarts at people during the Indian dinner.

7) Having my team win on Red Ice because I was griefing the shit out of the goalie.

Cool Seeing all of the amazing games that were demo'd, notably the surreal BasketBelle game, Fifth's amazing online sandbox game, as well as many other cool games I'm forgetting to mention.

9) Seeing all the cool people I love who all get my obscure references to old video games.

10) The finale of TIGJam, the Madhouse Tournament!! Better than last year's with controller input, full-screen resolution, epic battles, and a fat cash prize won by Inane, who even wiped the floor with me.

Man, I cannot wait for TIGJam to happen again!!

1. Playing 6-player Red Ice and watching Stevie score crazy goals
...which I made up for later by losing the Madhouse tournament immediately.

Oh yeah, your rap video! That goes on my list too. Plus I got to trade spectacles with Andy Hull for a few hours and get dizzy.

Is this rap video online yet? I've only heard Danny B's description of it but it sounds amazing.

I would also like to add: Rob Lach demolishing a table with a single kick, and then someone (I forget who) suggesting that it be made into a game titled "Rob Lach Championship Table Kicking". This was such a great group that even taking out the cardboard for recycling was hilarious.

>Get rejected because of my age

Yeah, in the past I wasn't quite comfortable with the concept of going to a TIGJam due to the fact that I was 16 (and looking somewhat younger...). With the average age of TIGers being mid-late 20s/30s, I wasn't quite sure I'd fit in.

But apparently Bobo (blademasterbobo) didn't have any trouble with it, and he's like our age, so I guess it's all good. Also I have facial hair now; no longer will I be mistaken for a middle schooler.  Wizard
