I'm also super happy that I used the jam to make the little tow-truck game and learn about Unity's joint and line renderer systems. As soon as I got home I started implementing the newfound knowledge into my main project Gaia. Undulating vines are much more interesting than static ones Smiley

 - Fuckin' Indie House!
 - Motherfucking Shoot Bastard!
 - Playing in a Magic the Gathering draft and the Madhouse Tournament at the same time (and doing well at the Madhouse Tournament)
 - Getting to the finals in the 0Space Tournament
 - Getting flashpunk advice from the man himself:  Chevy Ray Johnton.
 - Meeting awesome people and getting inspired to work even harder on my games.

I had an amazing time at TIGJam this year. Now that I have been to two of them and some GDCs I have made a bunch of friends so I don't feel out of place at all anymore.

We ended up doing 3 Magic drafts throughout the jam, which was awesome. I was a little ashamed to realize I was the only person that played in all of them, but eh... it was awesome!

I am however, sad that I didn't get a chance to play in the Madhouse tourney again this year. In between Magic games I would peek in and watch a bit of it though. It was probably my favorite part of TIGJam 3, and I heard it was even better this year!

Is this rap video online yet? I've only heard Danny B's description of it but it sounds amazing.

The rap video still needs to be created from the footage we shot. Also, supershigi is polishing up a more final version of the song. I actually still need to record my part of the chorus. I'm pretty excited for the debut. Making it was definitely the highlight of the Jam for me.

The fuckin MADHOUSE tournament was out of control this year and I was actually concerned that we wouldn't get to it at all this time around.  I really want there to be a new and improved (balanced) version of MADHOUSE for next year's tournament because it's actually a really awesome game to play, watch, and commentate  Gentleman

>Get rejected because of my age

Yeah, in the past I wasn't quite comfortable with the concept of going to a TIGJam due to the fact that I was 16 (and looking somewhat younger...). With the average age of TIGers being mid-late 20s/30s, I wasn't quite sure I'd fit in.

But apparently Bobo (blademasterbobo) didn't have any trouble with it, and he's like our age, so I guess it's all good. Also I have facial hair now; no longer will I be mistaken for a middle schooler.  Wizard

I was 17, and looked like 15, when I the first went to a game jam (PegJam 1.0). Granted, it was in the same city as me which made it fairly easier, but I also went to GDC when I was 18. Generally speaking, from my experience, if you're up for making cool shit and participating, age is irrelevant.

Wish I could have been there this year! Almost went, but couldn't due to $$$ and school. Hopefully next year!

I would go to a jam, but I'd feel terrible being the most unproductive person there. Also, I'd feel too young. It's hard to get transportation and stuff...

Glad to see you guys all had fun, too! And welcome back, Phubans <3

God damn I can't wait to see this. And also, Magic <3

Quick trivia: What's 2011-673? Make note that my birthday is coming up in 6 days, and account for that fact.

ALSO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT: How long I've been on the forum. <3

So close to meme status. BUT WAIT! You haven't had your birthday yet this year! You will be 674 which makes your birth year 1337! WOO! Except it's still some dumb meme number so who cares.

And I've been here 15 more days that you so HA!
(I made 6 posts before you were even a manbaby!)

And I think I've edited this post like 10 times.

I would go to a jam, but I'd feel terrible being the most unproductive person there.

FWIW, I find it incredibly hard to be productive at a jam. So many distractions. If I wanted to be productive, I'd stay home and put my headphones on. Jams are for socializing Smiley
