Alex's work has everything I want aesthetically.  So the majority of the colors will be retained, with the outside having lots of purples against red trees.  The Dungeons/Caves will still have a blue hue, for the most part, with really austere oranges/reds for the lava.

It's not going to be released in a demo, it's not going to be sold. Kind of like the other iterations. I've gone and removed whatever working-mockup screens there were that utilized your work.

As much as I respect the request not to steal im9today's art, I actually liked the crazy Space Funeral vibe that there was before when the main character was a mouse mous mousmous.

I didn't see the old art, but, honestly, I LOVE the colors of this one. And this "Not Cursed" looks awesome :D I'm anxious to see the "Cursed" status and what will it affect.

We should have some screenies by late tomorrow.  I've been fleshing out the procedural generation system for the Dungeons. 

I'm anxious to see the "Cursed" status and what will it affect.

Different player animation and abilities.  Certain curses will make certain areas easier or harder.  Like becoming Everdead will mean you can hit ghosts.  Being a Werewolf will make you stronger and run faster.

I have been swamped with work so I haven't been able to do anything significant, so it's sort of on the backburner for now. It's hard to keep up with Beef because he works so diligently when he's into stuff, and when university comes firing I have the habit of holding projects back...

It's still going though. It will just take some time.

The first entity you encounter, the Man in the Nest, is based on one of Andrés' (herror's) pieces.  There's also a very simple mapping of The Nest.  Juan has been working on tiles and I've been mapping/coding.  Sheldon's swamped with work but interested so we'll see if he can commit some assets to the Overworld/etc. Should be able to show off the new pixels and some combat this month.  Smiley
