The game is exactly what it sounds like. Basically, you're a lumberjack, and a giant meteor is heading for your home, so you gotta go cut down space trees to earn money and buy a giant cannon to blow it to pieces. It's kinda like an arcade game, but with a lot more free-roaming platforming involved. I'm planning on a release in December, but anything could happen 'til then. Also, JMickle is doing the music, which is very lovely. Not gonna let you hear it 'til the game is out though. Anywho, screenshot time:

Instead of driving a car, this lumberjack should be riding logs. (Click the image for Log Driver Waltz animation) But seriously though, this looks like a mighty rugged game. Since it's space... and he can carry stuff, and jump really high... How about you make a log asteroid belt or logsteroid belt if you will; that he jumps around on and I'll be happy, or just carry on.

Why thank you! I've put so much of myself into this, I feel, so it's nice to see people like it. I guess. so i heard this was pretty awesome It is! I need to get a good musician for it, though! Know any? How about you make a log asteroid belt or logsteroid belt if you will; that he jumps around on and I'll be happy, or just carry on.
There's a minigame involved (it's the third screenshot, actually) where you collect floating logs in space -- close enough?

I always thought you were a squid. I was just being nice and trying to include you in the human race.

It's pretty enjoyable. Pretty lax. And I love the physics. Good to see this continue to grow

Thanks much! Progress is going a lot slower than I'd like, but it is getting there. I'll have some more screens to show this week sometime (and when there's enough content, maybe even a video). Pretty lax.
Exactly what I'm going for, so this is nice news! This looks very neat andrew, I approve of the belt buckle.
I modeled his outfit after what I tend to wear in public, so I'll take this as a double compliment.
