The plot gives you a crash course on everything that's happened so far. An evil witch has imprisoned the fair princess in a castle, in front of which there is a giant dragon. To defeat the dragon you require the dragon-defeating sword, found at the end of Peril Mountain, and to defeat the witch you need the anti-magic talisman, buried deep underneath the sea. Fear not, though, for you have companions! A trio of strangely anthropomorphic mice and your fairy godmother are here to aid you in your quest.
