Let's discuss the most indie game ever made.
Just kidding. Anyone get this game? I don't really see the appeal. I kinda stopped paying attention after the first two (or was it three?)
What did they add this time?

I was going to make this topic, then inside, talk about how I went to get the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, and was met with a line of twenty something dudebro's wagging their dicks around for MW3.
I left the store feeling like I needed to shower.

"Dudebro" is probably the dumbest and most inconsistent term ever. Madden and CoD are dudebro games but Assassin's Creed, Zelda, Resident Evil, MGS, etc. are not even though they're all regularly played by 18-30 males in college fraternities who drink beer and have muscles.
Can't wait for the rest of this topic where it's revealed that the devs had no creative freedoms and their liberties were taken away by Bobby Kotick's evil hitmen who disguised themselves in suits and ninja turtle costumes to herd the developers of MW3 into cattle farms where they were trapped and were not given food or water until they met the development deadlines which were only a few weeks apart because the other higher up guys in suits wanted the sales figures to go through the roof so that they could finance vacations in tropical islands where they would plot their evil plans to destroy the independence of the sovereign gaming community which was first annexed from Canada in the year 1996 due to the ideals of freedom and democracy that had been previously limited by corridors and scripted sequences.

The thing that surprises me most is we're only on 3.
I thought they made a lot more of these already.

I want to be an indie-vidual too! Call of Duty sucks!
(Not really. It's not my favorite game series but it's good fun from time to time, as are most games.)

They have ... they alternate between "main series" ones (with a number) and "alternate" ones (these were made by a different studio, until IW left and now the second studio does everything I guess). Also the numbers are for the "modern warfare" subseries; there was a 3 game non-modern main call of duty series before that. So in total this is I think call of duty #8. edit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Call_of_Duty#Main_series

I haven't played much of the series at all, but I don't think I liked the concept of the kill-streak rewards, seemed pretty dum from what I saw in CoD4.
I'll probably stick to Quake Live though, I don't imagine someone will be capable of designing a better FPS for a while.

I somehow genuinely enjoyed MW2 multiplayer, until I discovered Team Fortress 2. Why can't anyone make a multiplayer FPS as fun as Team Fortress 2?

Not sure about Ass Cred but I think Zelda and MGS appeal to a different demographic (weeaboos and animudorks)
