Well, I probably won't finish my entry in time. I like where I'm going with it and I want to take my time doing it- after I finish Mining Game, that is.

Feeling the same way... It was dangerous to start this with a newly developed tool set.  The tools are getting more attention than the game, but I will see this game through.  I think it has a lot of potential.  I'll hopefully have something more substantial to share before the end of the week.

Finished watching Future Boy Conan - so good.  Miyazaki's series prior to Ghibli, depicting earth after the apocalypse [2008].  Really interesting to read into Miyazaki.

Update:
Just a screenee, started on the assets:


story is shaping up and rounding out - too many things I want to throw in terms of game play.  but world building is the basis.
I have this problem of just staring blankly at my screen every other tile or sprite I create. slow slow slow.

May be doing a very late entry to this.
Something nice and simple, a hacky/slashy/shooty thing with a post apocalyptic setting.
If I still plan on doing this I guess I'll update tomorrow.
EDIT: Nah it's not happening. Too busy/too much Skyrim.
