Maybe we could do two groups: one that wants to give gifts, and one that wants to receive gifts. win-win.

I think there would be a lot more on the receiving end than on the giving end.

Art for a game/fanart could be a gift.
Or even just some cool drawing stuff.
A gift of a homemade or bought game or even some cool music could be a gift.
Big or small or whatever.

I think this is a good idea, and would like to help facilitate it if we do Tiger

I'd be down, but I would be pretty bummed if I spent $5 on my favorite game for somebody and got a pixel stick figure in return. Can everyone agree to make the gifts awesome and not lame if they are 'made' and not bought? I would like a $5 max price though for stuff, or something similarly low.

Ooh, here are some ideas for folks who would rather be creative than spend money: avatars, desktop backgrounds, personal theme songs, main character for a new game, concept art.

Or do what pixellation does. Have people sign up. Have what they'd like to see as a game idea, then partner them with somebody else, and not tell them. Then for the whole month of December, try the best as possible to make that gift. Sort of like an all month ludum dare thing.

Digital thing was good since we sort of live across the globe from each other. Perhaps two teams? Those of you in Good 'Ole United States of Yankee, and those of us who aren't?
