Anyone can build a massive epic dwarven mountain home, but only the truly elite can build a legendary elf treetop city. http://silverspaceship.com/elfcity/You'll probably want to check out the helpful tutorial that's linked to there as well.

Interesting, one of the writers for the game is the same person who wrote Bad Machine.

Is it an Intel Mac? I don't know if it works for this game, but I hear Wine works wonders in general.

They apparently suck at climbing down from trees. Two of the elves died from falling damage. His appendix, tongue, and a few other organs were seperated from his body by the force of the fall...Eventually, the rabbits of the forest started to feast on his body parts (so these rabbits are omnivores?)... Interesting, though without a way to save, and very little documentation...not that fun.

I haven't tried this yet, but, come on, is this some kind of elaborate joke? I mean, The only fantasy colonization simulation you need! How lame is that. I actually have been thinking about making a game that fit this thread's title, just completely different. Sidescrolling, and with actual graphics. I already have some work on the technicalities behind it done, though I don't know if it will ever see the light of day. So, in a way I'm very happy this isn't what I thought it might be.

Add endless pits that show you falling to the ground and your appendix, tongue, soul, and a few other organs seperating from your body by the force of the fall. Eventually, rabbits of the forest starts to feast on your body parts.

This is completely ridiculous. Is it even possible to get past the first night without your elves toppling from the trees to their deaths? :D

For those who hadn't figured it out yet ... yes, this game is a joke.
The elves refuse to log down any trees (What sane elf would do such a thing?!??!!) which means no lumber for buildings. And when you build sleeping cots out of branches, the elves fall asleep high up in the tree ... and then roll over and fall out and die.
Then the bunnies come.
Alternately you can just let your elves wander around the trees attempting to be gardeners or fairy-wranglers or whatever.
Sorry for the spoilers but there was just too much lack-of-getting-it in the thread.
