I'm curious about how you're generating the maps and how you're handling the combat/entity interaction.

the maps are hand-drawn. entity interaction is based on a simple set of behaviors governing ai (I say simple. but it's considerably more cool than what most games get away with.) and simple rules determining attacks. the combat is a wip, though, it's what I'm working on currently.
