The best ecchi ever is Nozoki Ana (on-going manga, read it). Agree'd? ... Ok, screw it, hentai is what real men want to talk about.  So for the-real-stuff fans, the h-scenes in Type-Moon visual novels are amazing, right? They're very detailed. The purpose of this topic? To talk about ecchi. EDIT: What was I thinking, posting such a topic on such a forum? Er... is this allowed? |

To answer your last question: Depends on how tastefully it is handled. There is a difference between ecchi and hentai, too.
Personally, the only manga I've managed to get through completely is Law of Ueki, and the only other stuff I've read is comparable in style.

For my latter posts, if they ever come to being, I shall use these terms as such.
Ecchi: The on-going teasing for a character (or characters) in whatever medium (movie, tv, anime, manga, blah blah) and scenario. It may include actual nudity, but no real sex of any kind happens. Perverted, as it's commonly known, for the reader.
Hentai: Plain sex
Thats how I'd use them in difference.
