Fried mandioca. It's like potatoes, but better. Also potentially poisonous if not prepared correctly, but I've always enjoyed a bit of suspense with my meals.  Tongue

Indeed it does.  Shrug  Until you peel off the cyanide-containing outer layers, of course. Then it just looks like a particularly long potato.

just ate some steamed dumplings I made, filled with leftover pulled pork, green pepper, mushrooms, and onion

the first two times i tried making these I used a bamboo steamer gut they would always stick, so this time i put them in the rice cooker's steamer and buttered that fucker up

i also ate rice

ramen. again.

when i get paid there will be rejoicing, and fruit and vegetables will be reintroduced into my diet.

frozen vegis are cheap, and can be dropped into a pot of boiling water that also has ramen in it.

Is it even possible to make these without them becoming disgustingly dry?
Going back to chocolate chip next time. And every time after that. Screw peanut butter.

did you separate the dough into balls and flatten them down a bit with a fork? they probably weren't thick enough as far as i can tell

a sandwich I made which is pretty much garlic cream cheese, tangy cheese doritos and chorizo, its really cool. First food invention ever! (for me)
