For breakfast I had a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich on a bagel. The sausage was vegan but the eggs and cheese were totally not, but vegan sausage actually tastes just like the real thing if not better (I was never a huge fan of real sausage just because it uses gross parts)... Anyways, the eggs were organic, local, cage-free, vegetarian-fed, and came from happy hens. The cheese was Tillamook, so I'm not sure of the ethical details of that. I tried being vegan a few months ago and lasted about 6 months before going back to vegetarianism. There is just not a good enough approximation for cheese in vegan cooking (don't say Daiya, because it sucks) and I love the stuff. Though I will say that vegan sausage and vegan butter (Earth Balance) is actually better than the real thing. I went back to real butter after having Earth Balance and the shit just tasted nasty and rancid.
In protest of that thread, I decided to go full vegan for dinner. I went to Chipotle and got a veggie burrito without the cheese or sour cream. The guacamole was creamy enough to make up for the lack of cheese or sour cream, however the burrito sucked because they were busy and the kids working there were rushing and half-assing everything, so my burrito ripped while they were wrapping it and it basically exploded everywhere when I was trying to eat it. Also, they were out of my favorite smoked Tobasco sauce, which is pretty much half of the reason I eat there in the first place:

Look, I don't care if you have to get something with meat in it to try this sauce or not... But you've got to try this sauce.
