Anarchy is an ideology just like capitalism and socialism. If you don't agree with it, that isn't because you're too smart for it; it just doesn't appeal to you given your life experiencea and your understanding of the world.

The only anarchist political philosophy that I've seen that looked that it could work, is anarcho-capitalism, and even that has some pretty frightening implications.

trying to combine capitalism and anarchism is ridiculous and doesn't make sense. There is a ton of good literature about anarchism (both the ideal and the implementation).

Anarchy would work in a post-scarcity, post-death environment, but we aren't to that point yet.

Yup! Anarchy is invitable, but for the time being we just have to sit out capitalism until technology reaches a point where anarchy will be feasible.

I for one, can't wait until a roving band of skinheads rapes my wife and kills me for all of my stuff
Fuck yeah, Anarchy!

Maybe you didn't note the points of post-scarcity (Why would someone want to kill you for all your stuff if there is no scarcity? They can get it easier by some other means. Or why would you care about your stuff if you can get it just as easily) or post-death (If you can be brought back to life with no problem, why worry about dying?).

Are you a human currently living on planet Earth?
Have you ever played a game on XBox Live?
It should be pretty conceivable that there are people willing to fuck up your shit for no reason other than spite.
But I guess if I throw out everything I know about biology as a biology major and human nature and accepted that infinite resources and mortality are no longer a thing, anything is possible.
But I mean
If you have to justify Anarchy with outlandish sci-fi pipe dreams, it's probably not a very good system of anything (good meaning "realistic" in this context)

I'm trying to imagine a post-scarcity, post-death society and I can't think of anything but hell on earth. Especially that post-death part.
Wait, how exactly does post-scarcity even remotely work in any sort of way at all if no one is dying?
