BTW, playing a warrior, I found the COOLEST THING TO DO IN PVP EVER 1. Make a warrior 2. set all your insigs to power + crit damage 3. Make a rifle with chance to proc lighting/flameblast on crit. 4. Set traits all +30power +30Arms 10+ diciplin Make your burst cost less etc. and give adren on weapon swap, and rifle piercing 5. Make a mace + warhorn 6. Give both + adren on weapon switch insigs Now the fun part 7. Get 3 other warriors to do the same setup 8. roam around spamming your heal (give adren) and your mace block skill (give adren) while chaining the "CHARGE" skill 9. Choose a target (or a group of like 20 targets in WvW) 10. all three hit your burst right away 11. Instantly deal 28k-33k damage to that target, and then every single target in a line behind him with NO DAMAGE FALL OFF (instant group wipe)12. switch to your mace hit adren build skill 2 + swap weapons again 13. do it again. and then again every 3 seconds. You can do follow up spikes with every brutal shot + your multi shot. I don't think I even got high enough level to do half of those things. When you do PvP you are max level, have access to all equipment + sigs/runes + all traits, go try it with me in a party next event Actually know what we need to do?! SUMMON THE FLESHREVERyou need to get a weapon and put a sig of summoning... then get 26 kills without dying or switching your weapons. It's like the Nuke in MW2 http://www.guildwars2guru.com/gallery/image/91-fr1/It's the giant demon thing in the back.

Actually how far have you guys gone in the beta? Do you have any screenshots of your characters? I was mostly running around exploring and enjoying the world and I got to level 16 in around 18 hours. Unfortunately I only thought about doing a souvenir screenshot after the beta was over.

Got to level 12 as a Human Thief Screenshot I got with my friend when we were checking out the Norn city (click for fullsize)Sad that I had to turn down the settings a fair bit to run in fullscreen, but beta is beta. I really like that the stuff you can craft is not only comparable to stuff you get from drops or vendors, but also looks different. The coat I'm wearing is a nice example of this

I loved the original Guild Wars, very addicting. I never did get Eye of the North, but Nightfall and Factions were both fun. It's funny how there's no subscription fees and yet they are still managing on perhaps blowing away MMORPG giants such as WoW, who require like $15/month... It's cool how they can host such a great game and not bother players with costly fees

This game looks nice, but it's still too much like WoW imo.

People speculate that a beta weekend will follow two weeks later, that's how it was last time, a stress test on 13th and a beta weekend on the 27th. Man I want the release already so bad.

4am to 11am here, but I can only stay to 9am. I'm excited to try this, I was disappointed with SWTOR and from what I have seen this fixes the things I didn't like about it.
Anyone else play DCUO?

Let's get some BUILDS GOINNNNNN http://www.gw2builds.org/view/384395/welcome_to_pound_town#6.1.5.3-2.2.4.3.1-25.10.20.0.15-4.6.12.1.7.1This build is called welcome to pound town, it's well named because in this build the target is perma stuned/knockbacked (stunned) forever in an endless loop. The immobilizes in this loop are really only for the bonus damage. in order to pull off such a feat of advanced bravery you'll need to use the skills in this order. Leap (jump) ---> Kick (stun+knock back) ---> Bulls charge (2 sec knockdown) ---> 2 sword autos -->b4 they get up Shield bash (1 secstun) ---> Stomp (stun+knockback) ---> Leap (jump) ---> hamstring (immobilize) ---> Switch to hammer ---> staggering blow (stun + knock back) ---> earth shaker (Ult+2 sec stun+jump)--> hammer shock (immobilize) --> back breaker (2 sec stun) ----> switch to sword ---> shield bash (jump+1 sec stun) ---> kick ---> bulls charge (2 sec stun) ---> hammer switch (staggering blow) ---> Earth shaker )(2sec stun) You normally dont even get 1/3 of the perma stun combo off before they just die.

My juggernaut-traited engineer with permanent stability says hi Wow that trait makes me sad. actually you'll be perma crippled and still be immobilized most of the time so not that bad. btw seems like warriors are a huge counter to thiefs that passive immune to damage 5 sec screws up the 100->death builds that are all the rage
