SHIT YES! Not intending to play Sylvari or Asura as my main, but I'm very much interested in the Asura character creator. Will try to make an ungly, wrinkled one, like the ones in old artworks

I wanted to play Charr Warrior as in GW1 I was playing Necro/Mesmer and I was getting kinda bored from the caster gameplay but now that I played the Warrior and I saw a lot of videos, I actually want to play as Sylvari or Human Elementalist. I really love how you have so many different abilities at the same time (different elements). Also, Mesmer is really great at harassment. The fact that he can create mirror images of himself and you don't know which one is real is a great skill. I hope that I will be able to play WvW now as the last time, whenever I got into a battle with 15+ people, the game turned into a slideshow, really.

I've only played 3 professions so far. My thoughts on them: Thief - Somewhat underwhelming. Not a fan of initiative, and dual pistols were so effective, I never used anything else Mesmer - Pretty fun to mess with people using illusions, and greatsword is tons of fun. Sadly the shatter mechanic isn't very useful Engineer - My favorite so far. Loving the explosives and variety in kit abilities. Just wish they could use more than rifle, pistol, or shield
Planning on trying out Warrior and Elementalist next beta (Necromancer, Guardian, and Ranger all look dum)

I only played a Charr engineer so far, and even though I planned on playing a different character each BWE to find out what suits me best I just can't stop playing the engineer. And rivon, I have the same problem with WvW so I try to only fight the small fights and chases, which are still awesome. Although I got the feeling that in BWE2 WvW ran smoother than in the first one. I think WvW might be the primary mode of play for me.

Haha I think the servers died from so many people.
I'm on Gate of Madness for anyone who hasn't chosen a server yet

So how's it going? I'm at level 35, the game runs mostly well, but there are some problems with guilds. I can't write in the guild chat, new invites sometimes don't reach their destination and influence takes forever to register as gained.

I guess that's just the launch problems, server overload... I couldn't join my guild for some time, clicking the join button just did nothing, but it eventually started working.
