thanks for the support guys  here's the newest entry: I'd love to see you touch on how to actually shape objects. Something I've had a really hard time picking up on is actually creating the shape of the object I want to sprite. If you ask me to sprite a horse, I'll sprite it, but it's going to have some serious physical birth defects. Same with humans and even a lot of inanimate objects that aren't simple geometric shapes. i'd bet the problem is that you're thinking about "shape" and not about form. think about how the object looks in three-dimensional space. and use a reference! google image search is your best friend. there's no reason not to  |

As a total art noob, I found it really useful that you include a lot of theory about colour, contrast, form and light, not only step-by-step outline filling.

@green yo sup dude  thanks for the comments guys thans moczan, that means a lot. it's one of my major goals to actually teach people how to do things rather than just "do what i do" anyway new tutorial's finally up. sorry for the wait. it doesn't have as much content as some of the others because it's meant to be an introduction to the next section. Basics of Animationsquash and stretch and anticipation and followthrough we cover the necessary basics so we can dive into real animation soon dig in    |
