Another environment made with tiles. Experimenting with background colors according to the time. Also, adding textures to levels.

Still playing around with the character. I feel a human-like character would make the game loose it's magical-ness.

Like the new character also but definitely like the old little guy you have, fits in the world better and looks more like a part of it. You can save this new little guy for your next game  Smiley

I think I like the human better. You'd be able to express differences between characters better than if they were all white - however, maybe you could incorporate both into the characters, like different colored piq-ians, with hair and stuff.

to make the game's state-change more dramatic, you could switch between the two characters (resolution disparity aside)

 Crazy This is one of the best LOOKING indie games- and reading this thread almost everyday for a week , Coffee Cheers! It looka amazing and i havebecome SO MUCH of a fanboy and i was just wondering- how is combat going to be like- or is that not going to play a major part of thr game or what?  Shrug

Combat isn't going to be in the game very much if at all. I can't say 100% for sure just yet. Thanks for the kinds words, I recognize you from CM.org!
