Or have met? I say unique for lack of a better word.

For example: I want people to play my games and not worry about beating them as much/more than they would enjoy them. This one seems steep since I my self seem to care more about beating games than having fun with them.

I guess my ultimate goal would be to create memorable moments for the people who play my games. The kind of moment in a game you reminisce over with your friends. Whether its a multi-player moment you shared with your friends, or its a single-player moments your friend has experienced as well.

My favorite goal is for the game I'm making to be played competitively by other people. High score wars are always badass, but to have it busted out as a tournament would be a truly wicked career-affirming moment. Seeing Madhouse and Red Ice played competitively at TIGJam was really inspiring.

-Make a game.
-Make a game that adds a unique method of storytelling to the medium.
-Make a living off of games.
-Make a game that stays with someone.
-Make erotic fan art of one of Paul Eres' games.

Obviously some are easier to reach than others.

- To make a game that I actually enjoy playing. (I don't enjoy playing any of the games I've made so far Sad)
- For that game to be popular enough that a substantial player community forms, with user content being made and shared.
- That I generate a modest income from it.

My only goal/dream in game making is to create a turn based strategy RPG with competitive multiplayer. Having a game with active fanbase, constantly updating and adding content while making a living out of it is my dream job.
And of course making a living out of writing games - I partly do it already, doing minor and major programming jobs on various indie games, but supporting myself only from games I develop would be even better.

I want to make a game world where players actually just enjoy being in the world and care about the characters in it.

I want to make a game world where people care enough to go mental about it, bit like this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5QUHLGytdA&list=LLtyvEYVMCTJr8id2bYZK6rQ&feature=mh_lolz

I get goosebumps just watching that vid, because the people care so much! I don't want them to scream or anything, but it would be brilliant to create a world with characters where people just really connect with them. Where they can be lived with and loved?

So.. thats it.

I want to make a game that captures the Metroid spirit accurately enough that it has a speedrun / sequence break following.

At this point in time, I just want to make an RPG all by myself. Not a long one. The one I want to make is probably only 15 minutes long at most.
