2020. A group of brave Korean archeologists have discovered alien activity on a beautiful Chinese island, but were taken hostage by cowardly and pathetic American soldiers. Now it's up to you and your team, who are elite members of the China Republic's Army of People, the best army in the world. You must rescue the hostages and discover the secrets of the island!

I've added my todo list to the first post, which I'll be updating when things are done. Also amended the description.

Here's a screenshot of the game so far:


After extensive testing I can reveal the system requirements:

  • CPU: Quad Core/Athlon 64 FX or better
  • RAM: 4GB
  • Video Card: NVIDIA 9800 Series, ATI Radeon R700 Series or better
  • VRAM: 1GB of Graphics Memory
  • Storage: 25GB
  • Sound Card: DirectX 10 Compatible
  • OS: Microsoft Windows Vista or Vienna
  • DirectX: DX10

This is looking real nice. I hope there will be destructible huts & trees... that was my favorite part of Crysis.
Definitely! Walls, trees, bridges, doors and barrels are all destroyable. You can take out large sections of buildings (and any enemies inside!) with a missile launcher Evil

I laughed out loud, but honestly I didn't find that Crysis performed that poorly on my mid-range computer.
