It needs flair. Too bad calling it "(something) Nintendo Entertainment System" doesn't quite work anymore.

-The Famicom (or Nintendo) Future/Joy/Hyper/Excite/Wake. Being overtly Japanese is part of Nintendo's charm. People like SUPERMEGAULTRAFANTASTIC in a title. That being said, it seems they're trying to be an Apple-clone. Everything is white, simple and clean, and caters to as large a demographic as possible.. the name "Wii-U" follows that trend. I'd rather see the red shade from the original Famicom and tons of hardcore third party games.

They'll be an Apple clone when they start using metal and glass instead of plastic. Imagine the casualties that would occur if the Wiimote followed Apple's design standards.

when nintendo last tried that they were up against a huge electronics corporation and had their poorest sales ever. selling wii sports to soccer moms is probably the reason why they havent gone the sega route yet.
