Trudy's Mechanicals @ Incubator Games

We are working hard on our hard at our own steampunk turn-based tactic game: Trudy’s Mechanicals.

This Screenshot Saturday we have the Forge Arena and smouldering furnace. The furnace beast can spew out molten metal, filling up the bottom of the battlefield. Should anyone be pushed inside they will surely be devoured.

Crosspost from our devlog:
The last days I've been experimenting with adding moving waves and buoyancy to our floating buildings.
I'll have to tweak the settings and code somewhat, but I'm getting there.
The effect has been exaggerated for demonstration here though.

It has been a long time since I've posted anything. We are currently calling this game Project MikeDies. It's a fast-paced platformer with metroidvania-like exploration and dynamic physics based deaths. In the screenshot I'm experimenting with lighting and shadows in Unity 5 and the gif is a clip from our teaser trailer.

Worked on replacing a lot of placeholder art this week. Here's our new Knight enemy sprite and slash animation

Someone asked for a full render of one of the maps made by our random map generator. So I made one. We still have to add more terrain features for a bit of variety but I thought people might find it interesting.

Also it's kind of huge though.
