So I am working on this movement area visualization around the character. It is still bugged though, lines missing from some parts due to the way the tile map currently handles the connections (the wall behind the character, also near the wheelbarrow). It looks ok now, but bit too pointy currently, would prefer rounded edges.

Why are you doing those leaps of faith to the next section just as the energy beam passes by when it's entirely safe to stand in there and you can just wait until it's not there before you jump?

Nuclear Autumn is a mini "Metroidvania" exploration platformer made in 72 hours for Ludum Dare #32 and was awarded 16th place out of the 1468 entries in the Overall Jam category.

For the past few weeks I've completely rewritten the engine, revamped the pixel art and added dynamic lighting. I fully intend for this to be a complete game - with the story directly following on from the events of Nuclear Autumn.
