Trying to push my game back to textless. Previously the broken TV (not in this shot) would tell you what button to press to pick up items. Now the main character thinks about picking up stuff and hopefully players will just mash buttons till they find the right button.



Woah that looks awesome!
Best of luck with the textless approach. It's definitely not easy (it's something I'm hoping to pull off with my game as well  Cheesy)

Have the one of the screens on the broken TV be the button you have to press.
Hoping players will hit the right button with out giving them the slightest idea is very rude.

I'm really excited/happy by how this new feature ties in the last few (barrel roll, warping). It's hard to tell from the gif, but I show off the "barrel roll + warp = awesome creature" combo several times in the video.

People really like this character, so they should be happy to see she becomes a bit more prominent later in the game. I've been working on a gimmick stage the past few days.
