I enjoyed the trailer! Gonna hold off on the demo and wait for the full game, as hard as it is for me to resist. Crazy

Good luck with Greenlight!

While the enemies, powerups and such are the same, the demo actually has a completely different level layout and thus you don't "spoil" yourself anything related to the map, at least :D

yay gonna try it out. gota  twitter?

I know what I'm playing tonight!

EDIT:
Hah, found the first "developer secret" already.

EDIT 2:
Here's my thoughts after the demo:
  • Graphics and especially sound are on point.  Fantastic music as well as item/save/respawn jingles.
  • Could use some more feedback for when you damage an enemy.  Perhaps a white flash?
  • Lots of occasions where I felt that the hookshot was just a little too short.  Probably a non-issue.

Loved it! Voting on Greenlight now...

Two very minor crits:
  • The jump anim isn't particularly juicy - might be too similar to the walk pose
  • The load animation is cool once, but frustratingly slow every subsequent time when you keep dying somewhere

The hook shot took me a while to get my head around, but was super fun once I figured it out. Swinging up to the far side of a platform in order to double-jump my way back around is pure Kiss.

Voted!

As tempting as the demo is, I'll be patient for the full thing, so I can explore and sink in properly.

My body money is ready!

Guys the demo is it's own exclusive area apart from the main game; Which is why I'm posting here actually, I remember suggesting that in one of the live streams, pretty cool to see you went with that direction. Really loving the music so far.

i've got a list of games in a file on my desktop, that i'll buy as soon as they come out, this is one them <3
just hope that it gets greenlighted and sees the light of day quickly

ps: the controller configuration on the xbox controller in the demo was weird..x for jumping and b to shoot. maybe it is made that way for reasons, but "a" should be jumping in the default controls

played it and gosh damn it's good. Love the platform layout and enemy placement. The flow when moving around is spot on. the detail on the environment is great.
The complaint? i guess no boss fight music bug me a bit(no pun intended).

and i die alot.

it should really be "exiletroid" if anything, though that's abysmal

honestly i hate the term "metroidvania" despite its obvious usefulness in nailing down a specific genre

I haven't played the demo, but the game's "promise" hits all the right notes for me.

The deep sci-fi, the emphasis on discovery and exploration (rather than hurrr space marine), the giant lost artifacts/stations found in space, the mystery unravelings, the ruined tech, the strange organisms, the color palette, the grappling hook and powerups, etc. Just wonderful!
