Looking great, like always.

Regarding the block puzzle crushing confetti death thing, I think why they're not all bouncing their one time is because they're spawning inside of the block, colliding with the block (using up their one bounce), and then going away with no bounces left.

Also, for using blocks in things outside of puzzles, you could have some blocks with guns attached to one side of them or with a projectile-blocking circle shield. This would add to using them in combat as well as adding some possibility for some very interesting puzzles. I also agree with everyone else that block-pushing puzzles should be kept to a minimum.

This is probably true. In that sense, crushing wasn't the best way to show off the dying effect!

Work has been slow because I've been unable to decide how to approach this plant boss. I'm planning for it to have 3 phases; it's just kind of difficult to decide how to introduce the boss because unlike the previous bosses, this plant boss isn't a single, moving entity but instead the "whole room" in a way. It gives a lot of possibilities to choose from.

Just updating to inform you that the game isn't dead but I need to make another game first due to monetary problems this summer. You see, I'm not a 'student' during summer holidays so I lose all the benefits of being one for 3 months, which means that I don't get any money either, which means I have to get some.

Hopefully I can reaturn to this soon! Still slightly stuck at the plant boss, though.

I have all the colours in the world at my disposal, and all the pseudo-retro photoshop trickery I'd ever need. But my game doesn't even look half as good as this. The way you've conveyed an envrionment and created an atmosphere with such blockiness is beyond me -_-
