Here is our first game, its name is Plith, it is a puzzle game for Windows, OSX and Linux. Maybe, some of you may recall an Amiga game, Gearworks, I loved it and had always dreamt to reproduce some of its "feelings".

It is made of several levels, you will move some gears in order to let some (specific) other ones move - which is the objective of each level.

It is a pretty simple game: it is my first game and I have no experience, so I have not looked for difficult things.

Now, some screenshots:

It is being developed with Panda3D. We are in a pretty advanced phase of development, I hope to release a demo soon. Thank you!

Thank you! As you said, I could actually show a video before releasing a demo (as I wrote in the OP), it should be faster to prepare, thank you for the idea! Smiley

Hi! Smiley
Some new screenshots:

Changes: antialiasing; textures on cogs; mipmapping; shadows; new pole model; removed the gray border of GUI images; new GUI printings; textures of the lampposts are brighter.

Looks great, it has a nice level of polish.  I'm a little confused about the gameplay though.  Does the player have unlimited gears for each puzzle?  What's the red thing to the right of the gear in the bottom right corner?  Also, do you get points on how fast you did it, how few gears you use, or both?

Thank you so much! ^_^

I'm a little confused about the gameplay though.

I hope that when I will release the demo it will be clearer (the game explains the gameplay by some tutorial levels).

Does the player have unlimited gears for each puzzle?

Yep.

What's the red thing to the right of the gear in the bottom right corner?

You have a limited amount of bombs, which you can use to remove "wrong" gears from the level (you can see it at this point of the gameplay video). It often happens that you place a gear and then realize that it becomes an obstacle. Smiley

Also, do you get points on how fast you did it, how few gears you use, or both?

At the moment, I count the number of "active" gears, that is, the number of gears which are moving when you complete a level. Thank you again! Smiley

I was looking at your screenie and it reminded me of this game.

I've never played Cogs, but it seems similar to what you're aiming for I think.

Hi Savick, I also know Cogs, it is a wonderful game, and I have to make something different. Cogs has hard puzzles, and its focus is mostly on puzzles imho. My game has simpler puzzles (counter-balanced by other elements), so its focus is in the pace: you should apply your thinking without big breaks, in a continuous flow. I hope I can reach this. Smiley
