A problem with the dwarf sprite is the massive amount of colors it has. The original Naija has 7 not counting the background, Xion's shiny armor Naija has 10, and Eclipse's dwarf has 25.  ouch, 2 mins and i'll be back with a palette of 10, didn't know there was a limit >.< edit: blargh automatic palette reduction sucks  14 counting also the black, i had to dither the beard  oh, and 25 colors aren't a "ridiculous color count" at all, and using low contrast colors makes some tiny touch that sell the picture (for example in the 25 color version you can feel the armour isn't completely shiny but have some cuts and stuff on it) |

There wasn't, it just seems unnecessary and out of place to have that many, to me.
Inane's desktop   well now there's a 14 color version too (see my previous post)the other one was better but i tried to scale it down to my best |

I of course mean in context of the other sprites that have been made sorry i didn't resist :D feel free to simplify it even further, i did that only because i liked the dwarf that the guys on the thread made and i wanted to add a more "fantasy" look adding an armour and changing his beard |

I think Eclipse's take on the dwarf is definitely the best so far, but Inane's versions of the colours are the best and most in keeping with the style.
Also, I think Inane's hands are more along the right lines. That curled up fist has been bothering me, but I couldn't put my finger on why.
