The last fantastic tactic which advances
전진되는 마지막 환상 전술

Haven't played the PSone version, so it's going to be a demake of the handheld. A KOREAN demake.

Expect animal noises and spell names resembling spaceships. Will start on the design tonight, I might do a mockup but I most likely won't be bothered, whatever.

I also promise to finish this one unlike the last two compos

It should be "Last Hallucination Forward: Strategies"

Testing out stuff, I might try with different restrictions in an attempt to get a style going, seeing as I haven't actually had to do a whole game before.

Be assured, at least one character will own a hueg sword. I really want to use ZX Spectrum colours but I would make myself blind before I could finish the game.

Note: I cannot actually read, nor speak Korean. (I could probably write it though, it doesn't look that hard).

Some more art added and trying stuff out.

Game Maker confirmed for 전진되는 마지막 환상 전술. The characters hometown of KOREA is suddenly transformed into a country, by the means of magic activated by a prisoner wishing he were playing a real-life game of "The last fantastic tactics which advances".

Next few days will be writing some of the script, learning Chinglish (Kinglish?), working out how to track, etc. and deciding the scope of the game. Seeing as it's a tactics game I don't think it will be that big (because there's only a month, and I get lazy).

The premium quality version will be released in the next few days, so keep an eye out for that. (The premium quality edition may or may not work on your computer, depending on how cool you are and the number of vampires in your house at the time of running it).

I also can't decide on whether to use greyscale or the gameboy-green. Essentially the same thing but one is green and one is grey. And damn are those greens sexy. Input on this is needed.

Personally, I think the gameboy green is far too snazzy to not use. Enjoying the sprites so far, though I have not played any of the real versions Sad

I actually like the GBA one much better.

Looking forward to this!

I'm not sure if Game Maker can palette shift, but if it can, it'd be cool if you could implement different 4-color palettes like the Gameboy Color did.  If not, I'm a big fan of the green.

Also, I've never played a game in this series (never any Final Fantasy, actually), but I sure hope that goat is a playable unit.
