Nah, I've got a better idea. Allow the users to save using a 72-character password system (passwords are randomly generated every time). Then, no matter what is entered at the password entry screen, have them start back at the beginning.

You know, it'd be pretty funny if a password system were incorporated as an actual level so that you have to move the ball to hit each of the letters, and if you fall off mid-entry... you lose!
Now that I think about it, I should incorporate the speed powerup from the original game, except that it'd go so fast that not only would you have no idea where you were zooming to, but the graphics would break due to the low spec.
Man, this game is going to be so broken.

It's actually fairly fun, though the friction doesn't seem to be working properly as the ball never trully stops after you got it moving, unless that was your intention, in which case it was a very evil one.
Couldn't get past the first level.
MAKE THE MUSIC STOP! IT WON'T GET OFF MY BRAIN!
